Tina Turner - Shanti Mantra For Peace

Updated: Jan 17, 2022

Sarvesham Svastir Bhavatu

This Sanskrit peace mantra is believed to have originated from one of the oldest Hindu scriptures.

Its energy is thought to send healing vibrations to everyone who comes into contact with it. When chanted, obstacles and hindrances are said to be reduced so that they can be dealt with. Chanting puts you in a state of mind that enables you to make the right decisions and deal with your problems in a more effective way.

Mantra:

Om Om Om

Sarvesham Svastir Bhavatu

Sarvesham Shantir Bhavatu

Sarvesham Poornam Bhavatu

Sarvesham Mangalam Bhavatu

Om, Shanti, Shanti, Shanti

Mantra's Meaning:

May there be happiness in all

May there be peace in all

May there be completeness in all

May there be success in all

The Sanskrit word Chakra first appeared in the Vedas, the most authoritative Hindu text, thousands of years ago. In Ayurveda, yoga and meditation chakras refer to wheels of energy in our body and the seven most important chakras start from the base of our spine and end at the crown of our head. When our chakras are blocked, we are more likely to suffer from illnesses. It is therefore in our interest to keep our chakras aligned and to ensure that our energy flows freely.
